Growing before my eyes...

These last few weeks all run together for me.  It seems like I was just in the hospital looking into my brand new baby's eyes but Grant is now five weeks old and doing great.  He is a such a happy baby and brings so much joy to our lives.  He is growing before my eyes, at his four week check up he weighed in at almost 12lbs!  Big boy!  These pictures were taken when he was a little over two weeks old.

Boy Oh Boy!

One week ago today after nine hours of labor and a beautiful natural birth our lives were blessed with a healthy baby boy.  Grant Kelly Enquist was born on March 27 at 8:04am weighing 9lbs 8oz (I knew there was a reason we called him Baby Pudge when he was in my belly!) and was 21.5 inches long.  We are all doing great and Big Sister Savannah couldn't be prouder!  Welcome to your world Grant!  We love you soooo much!

Almost Time...

When I was 37 weeks pregnant we had a few pictures taken.  It was really fun to capture this time in our lives and enjoy the beauty of the baby growing inside me. I have always been amazed by the way a woman's body has the ability to change and provide a perfect little place to grow a life.  Savannah had so much fun taking the pictures.  She loves to love on my belly, sing to the baby, and tell "Baby Pudge" how much she loves him/her.  I can't wait to see her as a big sister.  She is such a sweet girl.  It seems like it was just yesterday that it was her kicking me in the ribs inside my belly.  As I write this I am approaching 39 weeks of pregnancy and getting very excited to meet this new little person.  We still don't know if it will be a boy or a girl but can't wait for moment we find out.  I have been so blessed to have healthy pregnancy's with both of my babies.  See you soon Baby Pudge!

Hike up to Rudy Flats

It was a beautiful Fall day and we couldn't resist going for a hike.  This hike is up North Canyon, which is  a quick 15 min drive from our house.  The smells and colors of Autumn were brilliant and the weather couldn't have been better.  Everyone had a great time including our 10lb mountain dog.

Halloween Fun

She is ready for trick or treating in her Halloween coustume.  She loves the pom poms and kept yelling "Go Broncos Go".  So cute!

Riding the train at the zoo.  The zoo hosted a halloween party complete with trick or treating.  She loved holding out her bucket and saying "Trick or Treat!  Happy Halloween!" to everyone she met.
